1. What is PixelBin?

PixelBin is a camera phone site. If you are the owner of a camera phone, you can take pictures with it. Send those pictures to pics@pixelbin.com, and show the world who you are! If you have never posted on PixelBin before, an activation code will be sent back to your phone, which you can use on www.pixelbin.com to register. If you are a user, PixelBin will automatically recognize you and post your image accordingly. From there users can comment and rate your image, or, if you aren't up for critiques, you can disable comments and just post your picture for the fun of showing it off. What are you waiting for? Give it a try!

2. What makes PixelBin unique?

PixelBin has more features than most other sites, including ratings, comments, internal e-mail, and many other things. PixelBin is always changing and being upgraded with newer and better features. Ask anyone that has used PixelBin for a while, and they will tell you that new features are added all the time. Feel free to browse through the rest of the site.

3. How will you use my personal information?

PixelBin is run on a secure dedicated server. As our privacy policy says, we will not sell, rent, or in any way use your e-mail address or personal information for any other reason than to contact you directly for a PixelBin related matter. We here are PixelBin are anti-spam activists, which is the main reason why there is an *internal* mailing system. This ensures that all users can contact each other, and the only way anyone can get your camera phone's email address is if you were to tell the user directly. Privacy is very important to PixelBin. We can assure that your information will forever be safe after you've signed up.

4. How dow I send pictures to pixelbin.com?

Send a MMS picture via a camera phone to [pics@pixelbin.com] , the first time you send a picture
an activation code will be sent back to your phone. Us that activation code to create a personal account on the register screen.

5. Is there a storage limit?

At this time pixelbin.com does not have a storage limit, per account.

6. Can I send adult images?

Yes, but images of that type will be placed in the 'censored' section by the admin. You can also help out by sending directly too, [xxx@pixelbin.com] if you want.

7. I sent a picture but it didn't show up?

If your image was sent via a cellphone type device and it didn't show up, please check the censor area if it's not there then send a test image too [test@pixelbin.com] so we may fix the problem.

8. I never received an activation code.

Go to the Login/Register screen and click the Lost/Retrieve Activation Code link.

9. How do I delete my account?

Login into your account go to My Account and click the Cancel Account link. Note: all images will be removed permanently.

10. Can I delete comments on my images?

Yes, as the owner of your image you're able to turn off comments (Preference screen) or delete individual
comments of your choice, by logging in and view that images comments.

11. How do I make my pictures private?

From the preference screen, you can turn on image privacy and set a password for family and friends to view your images. With privacy turned on all images sent to pics@pixelbin.com will not be shown on the main page. Alternatively you can send images to [priv@pixelbin.com] without having to set a password. To view private images visit the users profile and click the view private image link.

12. How long does it take for my image to be posted?

With in seconds of the image leaving your camera phone it should appear on pixelbin. So, pretty much less than 60secs your image will appear.

13. What is the best phone or service to use with pixelbin?

That's a tough decision, the best suggestion would be to ask other users of the site.

14. What cell providers does pixelbin.com work with?

The site is currently configured to work with all cell providers. If you experience a problem please send a test picture to [test@pixelbin.com]
